We had the team out to replace the penetrations on our roof required by our insurance company. Ed did the quotes and Taylor came to do the work. Both men were very respectful, polite and clear in their communications. A mistake was made that delayed the job, but Ed owned the error and worked around it, explaining the workarounds. At all times the communication from the company was excellent. I even had a query on a Sunday which the call centre answered for me. I'm just sorry I freaked Taylor out when I noticed a snake near where he was working!!! Great service and I will use them again. Thanks team, your high quality service is a rarity in my experience.

Please take away from this post things go wrong but these guys lived up to their promise to fix anything that wasn't right. The final quality of the work seems great and it looks like I just got a lemon of a plumber who no longer works there, and dealt with uninformed reception staff.Given nothing in this world always goes right I can confidently say, if something does go wrong for you with them, they WILL fix it, without further costs to you which makes them reliable and trustworthy.Original post:I rarely post but I'm so angry about this experience I have no choice but to share it with other people.The plumbers ask you before you've had a chance to test or even warm up your hot water system to provide them with a five-star review. I suspect everyone here has who has given a five-star review has had no problems with their water system.1. The wrong hot water system arrived. The individuals involved were away from work medically and we were passed through three different people, which resulted in an understandable delay, but they're poor communication meant that the wrong system arrived.2. Although we were able to renegotiate the price for the different system, the poor communication at their end meant that there was another days worth of delay in us having hot water while both the electrician and plumber had to get different parts.(We were asked to review before the electrician had hooked up the system.)3. Hot water system subsequently leaked and we were told they would replace it at their expense, since it must be a faulty unit.That was not what happened. The plumber in question eventually discovered that it was apparently because he had New South Wales qualifications not Queensland ones and had hooked it up incorrectly. This was not immediately apparent and it took well over two weeks from installation for the water to stop coming out of our hot water system the first time.4. Despite being asked to contact the plumber directly if there were any problems he's not answering, in the last 3 days over an inch of water has reoccurred in the bottom of our hot water system tray which is now about to overflow.4. I have had to repeatedly asked today for a more senior plumber because clearly the individual does not know what is wrong, they did not replace the hot water system which they originally told us was going to be the only solution, and I'm still left with 3 inches of water sitting around where my cats May drink it and possibly become ill as we don't know where the water is originating in the system.Profoundly disappointing experience despite the sales pitch assurances that there would be no problems and that they would take care of any issues that arose as part of their guarantee.

We had to replace our hot water system and I am so glad I spoke to S and J Plumbing. Edward was a breath of fresh air, explaining politely what our options were and giving us a quote on the spot with no call out fee. S & J also accommodated a prompt visit due to it being an urgent replacement and the job was completed perfectly within 24 hrs.The reason we went with S & J Plumbing was due to Edward being a great guy and it being a reasonable quote. Cheaper than another large Brisbane company who came out for a quote, sending a guy who was condescending and impolite. I did not want to give my work to someone with that manner.We were very pleased to deal with a gas professional like Edward after that experience. He left the place very clean and tidy. Was a champ.
